Episode 09: #TortillaTrend & How to Live With No Regrets

Here’s how you can make the TikTok #TortillaTrend as featured in the ninth episode!

The following makes 1 serving:

  • 1 large tortilla

  • Any 4 toppings you’d like. We used the following:

    • 1/4 cup salsa

    • 1/4 cup Mexican-blend shredded cheese

    • 1/3 cup pre-cooked shredded chicken

    • 1/3 cup peppers & onions

  • To prepare the chicken and vegetables,

    • Cooking oil spray

    • Taco seasoning

    • Salt and pepper for taste

    • 3 cloves garlic

1. Visually divide your tortilla into four quadrants. With a kitchen scissor or knife, cut from the top edge to the middle so there is now a cut between the first and fourth quadrants.

2. Heat a pan with some oil and begin to cook your garlic. Once garlic begins to brown, throw in peppers and onions. Cook on medium heat until onions become translucent. Then add taco seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Transfer mixture to a bowl to keep for later.

3. Add some more oil and garlic into the pan. Once garlic begins to brown, add the chicken. When chicken is hot, add in taco seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.

3. Add chicken to the first section of your tortilla, then peppers, then cheese, and salsa last. Then fold down the first section towards you, clockwise, until you reach the end.

4. Carefully transfer back to pan on low heat to grill the tortilla concoction.

5. Enjoy!
