Episode 01: Chai & Ghosting

Here’s how you can make the Naik Ginger Masala Chai as featured in the first episode!

The following recipe makes 4 cups of chai:

  • 5 cups of water

  • 2-3 tablespoons of grated ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom

  • 2 pinches of cinnamon

  • 4 heaping teaspoons of black tea

  • 3/4 cup of milk

  • Brown sugar to taste

Bring water, grated ginger, and cardamom to a boil in a stovetop kettle. In a separate teapot (one you will serve out of), put tea leaves and cinnamon. Once the water has been boiled, transfer into teapot and add milk. Let brew for 5 minutes, then strain and add sugar for taste!
